Terms and Conditions
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using islamcalculator.com (the “Website”) and any calculators, guides, articles or tools provided on it (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our Website.
These Terms apply to all visitors, users and others who access or use the Services. By using Islam Calculator, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age.
Use of the Website
Islam Calculator grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use our Website for your personal, non-commercial purposes โ specifically to calculate Zakat, check Nisab thresholds, and explore Halal finance options.
Calculator Accuracy & Limitations
Islam Calculator makes every effort to ensure that our Zakat, Nisab, Halal mortgage, Halal investment and country-specific calculators are accurate based on established Islamic jurisprudence and publicly available market data.
We strongly recommend updating the gold and silver price fields in our calculators with today’s current market rates before finalising your Zakat calculation. We have included manual price update fields in our calculators for this reason.
Islam Calculator is not responsible for any Zakat underpayment or overpayment resulting from reliance on our calculator outputs without verification of current market prices.
Not a Religious Authority or Financial Advisor
Islam Calculator is an educational and informational resource. We are not a Shariah board, a mufti, a darul ifta or a religious authority of any kind. Nothing on this website constitutes a fatwa, religious ruling or authoritative Islamic legal opinion.
We are not financial advisors, investment advisors, mortgage brokers or regulated financial services providers. Our Halal investment and mortgage calculators are educational tools for comparison purposes only โ not investment advice.
Scholarly differences of opinion exist on many Zakat issues โ particularly around prize bonds, pension funds, cryptocurrency and mixed asset calculations. Our calculators present the most widely accepted positions but cannot account for every individual circumstance or local scholarly consensus.

All content on islamcalculator.com โ including but not limited to calculator code, JavaScript logic, CSS design systems, written guides, FAQs, Quran translations used in context, and graphic elements โ is the intellectual property of Islam Calculator and its developers Hafiz Usman and Danish Javaid, unless otherwise attributed.
